I got to the point where I was comfortable customizing everything on Vista, but I started to venture one step further with Win 7. That was with the Visual Style itself. I purchased the program to do it, so I made a commitment to at least give it a go. I find it a bit hard going because there are more things to skin on Win 7, than in Vista in regards to Visual Style. Also Microsoft got a bit lazy and didn't get everything right so you run into a few brick walls here and there. They patched it over to make it look fine, but some things just can't be changed in the Visual Style. Apart from that though Win 7 is perfect for me. Maybe not as easy to customize a Vista for the moment, but I remember how Vista was almost impossible to customize for a long time. So give it time it will improve
If so, I might try making some visual styles since I have it...
btw apparently litestep doesn't work well at all with 7, it's buggy enough on vista but on 7 it's a nightmare according to a bunch of people. Oh well, so long as I have your base vs I'm okay
